Erika Scobel

Erika Scobel serves as Vice President of People Operations at Visio Lending, where she leads the company’s people strategy and drives initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement and performance. Since joining Visio in 2019, Erika has played a major role in scaling the organization and supporting its evolution into a remote-first workforce.

With more than 15 years of experience in human resources and organizational development, Erika brings a mix of strategy and empathy to her leadership. She is responsible for aligning Visio’s people strategy with business objectives to ensure the company attracts, develops and retains top talent. Erika leads a team focused on recruitment, performance management, employee engagement and leadership development, all designed to help both employees and the company succeed.

Erika’s mission and approach to People Operations are simple: create an environment where people are seen, supported and encouraged to reach their full potential both professionally and personally.

Before joining Visio, Erika held human resources and organizational development roles at Angelo State University, Texas Parks & Wildlife Department and CoreFirst Bank & Trust.

Erika holds a Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, both from Angelo State University, where she also minored in Business Administration. She is a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through HRCI and a Certified Plan Sponsor Professional (CPSP) through the Plan Sponsor Council of America.
