Jose’s Approach to Client Success

Jose Salcedo has more than 20 years of mortgage experience and has been with Visio Lending since 2013. He got his start in the early 2000s as a part-time loan processor while in college, where the energy and passion of the industry left a lasting impression. After earning his loan officer license, he began building a career focused on helping real estate investors grow their portfolios.

With more than a decade focused specifically on DSCR loans, Jose knows what matters most to investors: guidance, speed and reliability. He takes the time to understand each borrower’s strategy, aligns them with the right product and sets clear expectations from the beginning. And once the deal closes, he’s still just a call away.

Jose has helped fund over 900 loans, with many success stories along the way, including one of the first short-term rental loans Visio ever offered. He assisted one borrower with a lakefront STR in securing financing after several lenders failed to underwrite the property correctly. By connecting the investor to Visio’s STR program, Jose closed the loan and earned his long-term trust.

As a fluent Spanish speaker, Jose also assists Spanish-speaking investors in navigating the lending process to scale their portfolios with ease and confidence.
